Lisa’s Rant….life and healthy eating

Man am I ready for this week to be over!!! I had my test last night which I think went well. The grades aren’t posted yet.  I guess I got spoiled from the 1st test since she had the scores up the very next morning. I felt pretty good about it though.  Then I finally got to see my bf!!! Of course I immediately passed out on him shortly after arriving at his place but he’s used to that! I can’t stay up late these days especially this week.

This morning I had my usual cup of joe fully caffeineited this morning and a chocolate chip NS scone. I also have a blueberry TJ’s greek yogurt and an apple for a mid morning snack.

Lunch is chicken noodle soup with a side salad. I’m pretty obsessed with Annie’s Goddess dressing it makes me crave salad. I need to try some of the other flavors once the bottle runs out.  For a snack I packed a cottage cheese and rasberries and blackberries. So nice yummy meals today.

I really need to run or workout but this week has been nuts I will hopefully be home before it gets dark and set out on a quick run. I dont know what my plans are for the weekend really. I have to work on a project for nutrition and bake a pumpkin pie for my grandfather and bring a few pieces to the hospital. He is loving his sweets while he’s been sick.  Thats about it maybe watch the bf’s softball game Sat afternoon if its nice out. I just want to RELAX!!! My computer at home is on the fritz I need to bring it in or remember to bring my camera upload cord to work

Oh so I need to sign up for Chem for spring! scary! I’m debating on taking a night class and night lab or a virtual class where I guess you go in and watch some vidoes and go to lab a few saturdays during the semester. I would prefer an actual class but its hard with work. Decisions! Good news is though that I petitioned the Academic Common Market for Va to include Winthrop’s Nutrition program and its going to the next level of approvals!!! It could take a month but I’ve been persistant so I hope they approve it. It would allow me to go to Winthrop and get in-state tution.  Either way I have’t taken the GREs yet so I’m planning on applying as a transfer (undergraduate) to VA Tech and Winthrop then taking the GREs maybe next summer and applying to the graduate schools. So thats my school update
